I had put out this book because I am not a big fan of historical fiction, also the premise was pretty thin although interesting.
After reading this book I confirm that I am not a big fan of historical fiction, I found myself dragging my feet on every passage that dealt with Lee Harvey Oswald, its portrayal made me not want to be in the same room with him. And I praise Mr. King for that feat.
But the strength of this book is elsewhere, is a love story and one that is so powerful and so unique it left me in tears at the end.
Mr. King does not scare the crap out of you in 11/22/63, it leaves you hoping and believing in love.
